Pope’s Meeting With Waldheim

For whatever reason Pope John Paul II had for meeting with Kurt Waldheim, it merely points to the fact that he is only human and therefore capable of exercising poor judgment as well as any official.
In our society, we could impeach a leader for doing so. In his case, he will have to answer to a higher authority.
Too bad that in the interest of brotherly love among Jews and Catholics, His Eminence hasn’t gotten around to recognizing the State of Israel.
