Aerojet Ordnance Is Given $240-Million Air Force Job

Aerojet Ordnance Co. of Tustin said that it has been awarded a $240-million contract by the U.S. Air Force to produce 20,000 Combined Effects Munitions systems.
Work on the systems, conventional air-delivered cluster weapons, should be completed late in 1989.
Aerojet Ordnance, a unit of GenCorp, produces military weapons systems.
