A newly elected member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, Ilona Staller--who is also the country’s leading porno-film star--is being sued by an ex-policeman, who alleges Staller is holding parliament up to public ridicule. Salvatore Sanfilippo said Monday that he had lodged a private suit against the sex star, who was elected to the legislative body on a Radical party ticket in general elections earlier this month after a controversial campaign that included striptease shows and bare-breasted public appearances. Since her election, Staller has continued her porn career, staging a hard-core sex show in Viareggio that led to shocked and scandalized reviews in the Italian press.
