Greg Patton, UC Irvine’s men’s tennis coach, has been named Coach of the Year by the Intercollegiate Tennis Coaches Assn. Irvine was 25-11 this season, won the Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. championship and advanced two rounds in the NCAA championships. Patton was also selected PCAA Coach of the Year for the fourth time in his eight years at Irvine.
