Boston’s Dennis (Oil Can) Boyd, disabled by a sore right shoulder since the start of the season, will be activated today in time to start on the mound against the Milwaukee Brewers tonight, the Red Sox.
Boyd, who had a career-high 16 wins in 1986, will make his 1987 debut after three outings with Pawtucket of the International League.
