‘Tear Down the Berlin Wall’

Any informed reader knows the serious problems that Gorbachev is having trying to change policies in his country, with so many of the “old guard” still alive.
Our President, sanctimoniously, says, “Tear down the Berlin Wall.” This confirms my opinion that he reads “lines” for dramatic effect and does not examine the real problems that a new leadership is having.
Gorbachev has problems. Will he survive long enough to tear down the Berlin Wall?
Come on, Mr. President, stop reading the TelePrompTer and examine Gorbachev’s problems intelligently.
