Porn star John Holmes, 44, is recovering from cancer surgery and will never make an X-rated film again, his manager said in a United Press International interview on Saturday. “He’s made his last film,” said Bill Amerson, Holmes’ manager for 20 years said. Holmes had surgery last October to remove a malignant tumor from his colon, Amerson said. “He’s not bedridden and he’s not dying,” Amerson said. Holmes’ future activities in the pornographic movie industry will be limited to distributing films for Penguin Productions, Amerson’s film company in which Holmes owns stock.
