LOSERS, ALL!
The winners of The Times’ Magnificent Movie Poll contest--which promoted Cineplex Odeon’s new 18-screener in Universal City--included classics like “Gone With the Wind,†“Casablanca†and “Citizen Kane.â€
But what about those titles sent in (entrants were invited to send in their all-time faves) that went nowhere? (The 22,277 entries encompassed 1,247 films.)
Outtakes got the scoop!
Among the films dear to the hearts of some Times readers:
“Blood Feast,†“Heaven’s Gate,†“Friday the 13th,†“Valley of the Dolls,†“War of the Gargantuans,†“Cobra,†“Wanda Whips Wall Street,†“Beyond the Valley of the Dolls†and “The Golden Child.â€
And don’t forget “1983 Superbowl Highlights.â€
