President Reagan is expected to renew his campaign for budget reform in a televised report today on last week’s Venice economic summit, at which he was criticized for the soaring U.S. budget deficit. An Administration official, speaking on condition he not be identified, also said the President will report on the outcome of Secretary of State George P. Shultz’s arms control talks last week with NATO foreign ministers at Reykjavik, Iceland. The speech is scheduled for 5 p.m. PDT on the major networks. Reagan returned Friday night from a 10-day European trip.
