Canadian sprinter Angela Issajenko Taylor upset world record-holder Evelyn Ashford in the women’s 100-meter dash during a track and field meet at Verona, Italy. The Jamaican-born sprinter was timed in 11:19 seconds, while Ashford, who holds the world mark of 10.76 seconds, finished second in 11.28.
