ATHENS — Police in Greece said Thursday they have been put on alert after receiving reports that Abu Nidal terrorists are in Greece to buy yachts for use in suicide missions against U.S. military and other targets.
“We have received information that Abu Nidal terrorists are planning to buy yachts, fill them with explosives and then launch suicide attacks against U.S. military and other targets,” a police source said.
Abu Nidal, a Palestinian, is believed to be the mastermind behind bloody massacres at the Rome and Vienna airports in 1985.
