A couple was found dead in their home Thursday morning of gunshot wounds to the head, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department reported.
The bodies of Sylvan Bishop, 61, and his wife, Emily, 59, were discovered by their son-in-law, who lives nearby, at 6:50 a.m. in a rear bedroom of their house in the 2300 block of Marshall Way, homicide investigator Bill Baxter said.
Police said it is possible that at least one of the victims committed suicide, but neither an official cause of death nor a motive had been determined Thursday.
Sylvan was disabled. His wife was self-employed, police said.
Baxter said police impounded several weapons at the house. He added that they found no evidence of forced entry or missing property.
