Body of Man Found in Orange Grove
The body of an unidentified young man was found in an orange grove near Irvine Monday morning. Although the cause of death has not been determined, murder is suspected, authorities said.
Sheriff’s Lt. Robert Rivas said people walking in the orange grove south of Irvine Boulevard and west of Culver Road found the body about 10 a.m. and notified the Sheriff’s Department.
Rivas said the young man’s body was fully clothed. He added that there appeared to be an injury or wound in upper torso.
The victim was described as a Latino in his 20s, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with black hair.
