Litton Plant Awarded $223-Million Contract
Litton said its data systems division in Van Nuys received a $223.2-million contract from the Navy to make equipment used in controlling aircraft during battle.
The contract, expected to create about 350 new jobs at the division, may be worth as much as $750 million by 1989. The equipment will be used on Marine Corps and Air Force planes.
