Police defused a bomb at Los Angeles Valley College in Van Nuys after at least two homemade devices were found near midnight Wednesday, police said.
Los Angeles Police Detective Ron Douglass said at least one of the devices was explosive and was disarmed by a bomb squad.
Douglass, however, would not say how many of the devices were found, nor would he gauge the size of the explosive.
A janitor found one of the devices about 11 p.m. Wednesday, and, about 90 minutes later, a security guard discovered another, Douglass said. The devices were found near campus telephone booths.
