OVER THE ‘EDGE’

Regarding actor Crispin Glover’s comments about his role in “River’s Edge” (“Charting the Emotional Depths of ‘River’s Edge,’ ” by Kristine McKenna, May 23), i.e., “. . . the idea of a 16-year-old murderer is no more disturbing than the idea of a 40-year-old murderer . . .” and also: “. . . the story doesn’t horrify me.”
If his quotes are accurate, then I am the one who is disturbed and horrified. The moral crossroads applied to the delinquents may well apply to Glover and his ilk. Heaven help us all.
