Votes to Be Cast in 2 Legislative Districts Today
Voters go to the polls today to elect representatives in the 33rd state Senate District and the 56th Assembly District. Polls in both areas will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Senate district covers southeast Los Angeles County and northwest Orange County, including the cities of Norwalk, Lakewood, Cerritos, Cypress and Los Alamitos. The Assembly district includes East Los Angeles, the Civic Center area, Commerce, Vernon, Maywood and Bell Gardens.
