Beer Sales
After reading Assemblyman Gary A. Condit’s (D-Ceres) weak letter (April 28) on beer sales at gas stations, I wonder if anyone really believe that he has not been influenced by the liquor industry’s campaign contributions to him.
He is trying to keep the State of California mediocre. California legislators should actually be enforcing a statewide ban on the sale of liquor wherever gasoline is sold.
Society is slow to change attitudes, but one change is absolutely necessary--keeping liquor away from drivers.
