Tustin High School’s baseball team, which had a victory taken away this week, had to come from behind Wednesday to beat Estancia, 7-6, in a Sea View League game at Tustin. Senior Monte Roberts hit a two-run single in the seventh inning for Tustin.

Tustin was forced to forfeit a league victory for violating a Southern Section rule prohibiting teams from practicing on Sundays or Christmas. Tustin and University high schools each held a Sunday practice in March.

Before the forfeit, Tustin had been tied with Saddleback for the league lead.

Wednesday’s victory keeps Tustin (7-3, 11-8) one game behind league leader Saddleback, which beat Newport Harbor, 5-1. Estancia (5-5, 8-12) remains in third.
