Resdel Industries received three-year subcontract.
The firm said it has received the subcontract estimated to be worth $6.1 million to provide transponder assemblies for use in aircraft operated by the Navy and Air Force. Transponders assist radar operators in tracking an aircraft. The Newport Beach defense electronics firm said it was awarded the contract by the Kollsman Systems Management division of the Nashua, N.H.-based Kollsman Instrument Co.
