Mrs. Reagan Planning Appearances in Europe

WASHINGTON — First Lady Nancy Reagan may make solo appearances in Sweden as well as Italy during a European trip with the President in June, her press secretary, Elaine Crispen, said.
The Reagans will make a state visit to Rome on June 3-6 and visit the Vatican to meet with Pope John Paul II on June 6. They will then travel to Venice, where Reagan will join with the leaders of six other Western industrialized nations for the annual economic summit meeting.
