Maritz Ties for 2nd in Golf Tournament

Laurette Maritz of United States International University shot a three-over par 75 Wednesday to tie for second at 219 with Jennifer Wyatt of Lamar College in the Lady’s Sun Devil Invitational golf tournament at Phoenix.

Oklahoma State’s Robin Hood won the tournament with a 218, after shooting a 69 Wednesday. Hood birdied the final two holes to edge Maritz and Wyatt.

Oklahoma State won the tournament with a team score of 900. Arizona State (903) was second and USIU (912) third.
