Sheriff’s deputies have found the body of a white male in his early 20s in Cibbetts Flats campground off Kitchen Creek Road.
The deputies found the unidentified man, who has brown hair and brown eyes, about 4:15 p.m. after receiving a report Tuesday of the body from a nearby camper. The man, who appeared to have been dead for several days, was wearing a red T-shirt with a Navy logo, jeans and a red baseball cap, said Deputy Danny Goodrich of the Sheriff’s Department’s homicide detail.
No weapons were found in the area, Goodrich said.
An autopsy is scheduled for today.
