VANCOUVER, Canada — Stan Smyl scored three goals and assisted on another Friday night to power the Vancouver Canucks to a 6-4 victory over the Winnipeg Jets.
Dave Lowry scored the goal that broke a 4-4 tie 26 seconds into the final period. Lowry raced down the left wing, bulling his way past two Jet defenders before surprising goaltender Pokey Reddick with a wrist shot.
Petri Skriko and Patrik Sundstrom also scored for Vancouver, which has won six straight at home although eliminated from playoff contention.
