Cambodia Rebels Say They Killed 2 Soviets
Associated Press
BANGKOK, Thailand — Khmer Rouge guerrillas say they killed two Soviet advisers in a March 20 rocket attack on the northwestern Cambodian town of Siem Reap.
A clandestine Khmer Rouge radio broadcast, a text of which was made available Thursday, said the guerrillas fired a 107-millimeter rocket into a military headquarters and killed the Soviet advisers. It also said six Vietnamese soldiers died and others were wounded in a rocket attack that day on a Vietnamese position in Siem Reap.
