A Santa Monica businessman lost his bid for temporary visitation rights with the 5-year-old girl born during his affair with a married woman. Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Herbert Klein essentially barred any contact between Michael Hirschensohn, 44, and Victoria, the girl he considers his daughter, unless the state Court of Appeal rules that current state laws on fatherhood are faulty. Hirschensohn was never married to the child’s mother, model Carole Singleton, who at the time of their affair was separated from the husband to whom she has since returned.
