MEMORIAL SET FOR EX-TAPER TREASURER

A memorial service will be held Sunday, 10 a.m., at the Mark Taper Forum for Jim Conklin, 55, box-office treasurer and theatrical producer, who died March 25 of cancer.
At the time of his death, Conklin was serving as box-office treasurer at the James A. Doolittle Theatre. He had been treasurer at the Taper from 1972-85.
