Quarterback Vinny Testaverde and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reportedly agreed to a six-year contract worth more than $8 million, which would make the Heisman Trophy winner the highest-paid rookie in NFL history.
Testaverde is expected to sign within a week. Dan Marino of the Dolphins earns $9 million over six years, and Jim Kelly of the Bills currently makes $8 million over five years.
