Cudahy : City Buys Rebuilt Tour Bus
The city has purchased a 48-passenger tour bus for $69,000 to be used by the Park and Recreation Department for senior citizen outings and other recreational activities.
The rebuilt bus was bought with funds from Proposition A, the half-cent county sales tax given to cities for transit projects.
This is the fourth bus that Cudahy has bought with the transit funds. The three other buses are part of the Cudahy Area Rapid Transit, which has a fixed-route as well as a dial-a-ride service for the community’s 20,000 residents.
