A car veered across the grass median strip of a busy boulevard in Ontario and was struck broadside by a stake-bed truck, killing the car’s driver and her three daughters and critically injuring a fourth child. Police said Wanda Price, 27, Lashondra Price, 8, Lawanda Price, 7, and Kenya Jenkins, 10, died at the scene. Seven-year-old Raymond Favors Jr., was in critical condition at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Traffic investigators said Mrs. Price’s mother told them that her daughter had a history of seizures and hypertension. They said she was westbound on Mission Boulevard when, for unknown reasons, her 1964 Chevrolet Nova veered across the median into the opposite lanes, and was struck by the truck. Truck driver Ray Anthony Taylor, 21, of Pomona, received minor injuries.
