An heiress suing for return of $6.6 million she gave a fundamentalist church found solace in the church that she never got from her wealthy family or her husband, a defense attorney said in opening arguments in Worcester, Mass. Elizabeth Dovydenas maintains that the Rev. Carl H. Stevens and other members of The Bible Speaks church pressured her into the gifts. Dovydenas, 34, is the daughter of Wallace Dayton, a founder of Dayton-Hudson Corp. retail stores.
