Kings Move On to Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA — The Kings played one of their best games of the season in their win against Washington Tuesday night, and get a chance to test their new prowess when they play the Flyers tonight in the Spectrum.
The Kings, 27-35-8, made up a 3-1 third-period deficit by scoring three goals in 50 seconds and went on to beat the Capitals, 5-4.
This is the second game of a six-game trip for the Kings.
The Flyers played what Coach Mike Keenan called, “our best game since Christmas†in beating the New York Rangers Tuesday night, 4-1. The Flyers, 43-22-6, have the NHL’s second-best record and it’s best goaltending.
