William E. Diethrich, who was ousted from List American Bank in Newport Beach just after its owner went bankrupt, has joined Bank of Redlands as a senior vice president and loan administrator. Diethrich, 53, of Mission Viejo was credited with turning around Orange City Bank, which physician-turned-developer Martin List bought in late 1985 and renamed List American Bank. List now has agreed to sell his 95% stake in the bank to two Texas investors and return to his medical practice.
