A Soviet-made documentary about the Chernobyl nuclear accident was not shown as scheduled Friday at the Berlin Film Festival because the film failed to arrive at the theater on time, organizers said. Festival sources said officials were uncertain why the documentary, entitled “The Bells of Chernobyl,†was not delivered by Soviet film officials in time for the scheduled showing, which was to mark its Western premiere. Organizers said the film is now scheduled for today. The festival ends Tuesday.
