Orange County College Basketball : Christ College Irvine Loses, 89-78
West Coast Christian College earned a spot Friday in the final of the Western Christian Athletic Assn. basketball tournament with a 89-78 victory over Christ College Irvine in a semifinal game at Irvine.
West Coast Christian will play Arizona College of the Bible, which beat Life Bible College in the other semifinal game Friday, 113-97.
The final will be tonight at 8 at Irvine, with Christ College Irvine playing Life Bible for third place.
Glen Parrish paced West Coast Christian (17-14) with a game-high 30 points. Champ Pannell added 26. West Coast Christian led through most of the game, building in the second half on a 39-38 halftime lead.
Victor Townes led Christ College Irvine (14-18) with 27 points. Robert Pallotta added 23.
