Local News in Brief : Passenger in Car Shot, Killed in Pacoima
A passenger in a car was killed in Pacoima early Sunday when he was struck by a bullet fired by someone in another car, police said.
The man, Edward Bazaure, 25, of Pacoima, was shot about 1:10 a.m. on Van Nuys Boulevard near the Golden State Freeway, according to Los Angeles police reports. Friends took Bazaure to Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, but he already was dead, police said.
No arrests had been made, and police were attempting to determine a motive for the shooting.
