Quinn and Canucks Were Let Off Easy
The actions of former King Coach Pat Quinn and the subsequent nonpenalty slapped on him by the National Hockey League office are absurd. Quinn should have been removed from both positions forever, and the Vancouver franchise should be sold and moved to another city.
The conflict-of-interest situation that arose after the signing of the Vancouver contract would be recognized as a problem by anyone who ever walked by a business law class, let alone attended law school.
The Kings have such a positive youth movement under way this year. Hopefully, their performance will continue to improve under the guidance of Mike Murphy.
