Worker Feared Dead in Pasadena

A portion of the old Broadway department store in Pasadena, being demolished to make way for a downtown office complex, collapsed this morning and one construction worker was missing and believed killed.
The building was being torn down when the structure collapsed at 10:19 a.m., Fire Department spokesman Don Hughes said. Firefighters were attempting to locate the missing worker in the rubble of the collapsed two-story building at Colorado Boulevard and Los Robles Avenue. No other injuries were reported.
