A jealous rage by a former boyfriend was at the root of the fatal shooting of three people in a Fowler bar, Fresno County sheriff’s detectives said. Witnesses told investigators that Ernest Aguirre, 29, of Parlier walked into the Peek-A-Boo bar and spotted his former girlfriend, Marabelle Ramirez, sitting with another man, Tomas Farias of Parlier. Witnesses said Aguirre pulled a small-caliber pistol from his pocket and shot Farias in the head, killing him instantly. He then shot and killed Ramirez as she tried to run away. Deputies said Aguirre then shot himself in the head with the same gun when a security guard tried to grab him. Aguirre, Ramirez and Farias all were dead by the time deputies reached the scene.
