Israeli troops fired tear gas and rubber bullets at rock-throwing Palestinians in the third day of West Bank demonstrations, which started as a protest over the Shia Muslim siege of Palestinian camps in Lebanon. Demonstrators added a new grievance after Israel ordered nine men held for three to six months for inciting violence in the area it has occupied since 1967.
