Westwood-based Whittaker said it reached agreement to sell Bennes Marrel, a manufacturer of hydraulic devices and material handling equipment, to a group headed by the subsidiary’s senior management. Terms of the deal were not revealed. The sale of Bennes Marrel is part of a previously announced restructuring of Whittaker designed to focus the firm on its technical products and specialty chemicals businesses.
