Fluor Unit Wins Contract for Plant Expansion Work
The Fluor Daniel unit of Irvine-based Fluor Corp. said it has been awarded a contract by USI Chemicals Co. Inc. for expansion of a polypropylene plant near Chicago. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
Fluor Daniel will perform engineering, procurement and construction management duties for the expansion project. Polypropylene film is used as a packaging wrap for perishable goods such as snack foods.
