KTLA recently aired episodes of “Fame” at 5 p.m. nightly. What a welcome change that was. I could just about quote the dialogue on each of “The Love Boat” shows. I was looking forward to seeing something new. In addition to the fact that each of the “Love Boat” episodes have been aired five or six times, some of the subjects that are discussed weren’t necessarily what I wanted my 9 and 4 1/2-year-olds to see, and we all enjoyed watching “Fame” and then “Magnum, P.I.” together. I can only hope that Channel 5 will consider putting “Fame” back on in that time slot.
