Reagan Taps Linkletter for Australia Exposition

WASHINGTON — President Reagan today nominated Art Linkletter to serve as commissioner general of the U.S. exhibition at the International Exposition in Brisbane, Australia, in 1988.
Linkletter, 67, will hold the rank of ambassador while serving in that capacity. He served as special U.S. representative of the State Department at the Brussels World Fair in 1958.
