Orange County Prep Basketball : Freeway League : Fullerton Wins With Fast Finish, 64-45
Junior guard Greg Wilber scored 20 points to lead Fullerton High School to a 64-45 victory over Sunny Hills Friday in a Freeway League game at Fullerton.
Wilber made two consecutive three-point baskets to start a 16-2 Indian run to open the fourth quarter.
Fullerton (3-1, 8-6) outscored the Lancers (2-2, 10-6), 26-6, in the fourth quarter.
Sunny Hills pulled to within seven points, 46-39, on a Manish Munshi three-point basket at the end of the third quarter. It was his only basket of the game.
Fullerton led at halftime, 30-25.
Alan Lewis scored 11 points and Keith Bach added 10 for Fullerton. Brian McCloskey led Sunny Hills with 13.
Sonora 70, Buena Park 67--David Morris scored 23 points, including 15 in the fourth quarter, to lead Sonora.
The Raiders, who trailed 54-46, outscored Buena Park, 24-13, in the fourth quarter.
Morris made six three-point shots. Ken Grady scored 20 points for Buena Park.
Troy 52, La Habra 47--Mark Rudometkin scored 20 points and Bread DeLoof added 10 to lead Troy. The Warriors trailed by two points after three quarters, but outscored La Habra, 15-8, in the fourth.
Rudometkin had eight points in the fourth quarter.
