Peruvian Policeman Wounded by Gunman

LIMA, Peru — A gunman in a passing car fired at two unarmed policemen in civilian clothes, wounding one of them, police reported Monday.
They said the attack occurred Sunday morning in the coastal city of Chimbote, 265 miles north of Lima, as the two off-duty policemen rode a motorcycle through a slum district.
