Earle Bruce of Ohio State has been offered the Arizona football coaching position, according to a report in today’s Tucson Star.
Bruce interviewed for the Arizona position Sunday in Tucson with Wildcat Athletic Director Cedric Dempsey.

Dempsey was also going to interview San Diego State’s Denny Stolz for the Wildcat position. San Diego State officials are in the process of improving Stolz’s financial package in an attempt to keep him with the Aztecs.
