Miscione Selected Player of the Year in Empire League
Esperanza High School running back Mike Miscione, who rushed for 1,959 yards during the 1986 season, has been named player of the year in the Empire League in a vote of the league’s coaches.
Los Alamitos quarterback Tom Williamson was named the offensive player of the year. Loara linebacker Brian Malavar was named defensive player of the year. Esperanza’s James Rae was named offensive lineman of the year, and Loara’s Dan Rovira the defensive lineman of the year.
