Community College Basketball : OCC Women Advance, 77-59

Sophomore center Lisa Schumaker scored 31 points and had 17 rebounds Friday to lead the Orange Coast College women’s basketball team to a 77-59 victory over Antelope Valley in a first-round game of the Saddleback Tournament at Mission Viejo.
Karen Rindoe added 15 points for the Pirates (10-9), who play College of the Sequoias for the championship today at 2 p.m.
Antelope Valley (5-5) play Saddleback for the consolation championship at noon.

Mt. San Antonio 56, Rancho Santiago 43--The Mounties defeated the Dons at Walnut.
