Queen’s Trophy, most effective use of roses: City of St. Louis, “Summer Faire in the Valley of the River Clyde.”
Mayor’s Trophy, most originality: Security Pacific National Bank, “Wonders in the Wind.”
Pioneers’ Trophy, best portraying California tradition: City of Santa Ana, “Folklorico.”
International Trophy, excellence in a float from outside the United States: China Airlines, “Dynasty.”
Founders’ Trophy, excellence in a float built by sponsoring group: City of Downey, “Wings of a Dream.”
Animation Trophy, best animation and motion: American Honda Motor Co., “King Kong--Eighth Wonder of the World.”
Judges’ Trophy, most wit and fancy: City of La Canada Flintridge, “Friendship Afloat.”
Anniversary Trophy, best portraying life in the United States: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, “New World Discovery.”
